Cards of Thanks

I want to thank all of my family and very special friends for all their love and support during my long hospital stay. It sure made a big difference and helped me to get through each and every new day. I also want to thank the medical staff of the VG hospital, Halifax, and the Infirmary, for all their skills and excellent care. They helped save my life and encouraged me to keep going all the way while I was there. Sometimes life throws us a nasty punch and knocks us out for awhile. But we learn, with help and support from others, to carry on, and be grateful for life and greet each new day with a big smile. Douglas D. Nodding

I would like to extend a warm thank-you to everyone who attended my 90th birthday party and for the lovely gifts and cards I received. Special thanks to the Rosedale New Horizons Club for the wonderful birthday cake. Dorothy Kaulback.

The family of the late John Everett Wentzell would like to thank everyone for their acts of kindness. The sudden death of our husband, brother, father and grandfather has left us in shock and we appreciate all that has been done for us at this time of loss. The donations of food, memorials, phone calls and cards (too numerous to mention) have been a great blessing to us all. To Patrick Sweeny and staff, the compassion we felt made our ordeal bearable and went far beyond the call of duty. To the Bridgewater Fire Department and those of many other departments, who made our day one of memorable qualities. Thank you so very much and may God bless each and every one of you. Sharon, Andrew, Kelly, Kirk, Amanda, Kristen, Kaitlyn, Katie and Brandon.

Willard and Shirley Weagle and family extend their heartfelt thanks to the firemen of the Italy Cross, Middlewood and district, Petite Riviere and United Communities fire departments. We are very grateful for your professional work in saving our home in Middlewood during a January 13 electrical fire.

With sincere appreciation, we acknowledge the flowers, food, phone calls, visits and many cards received from friends and family following the passing of sister, Barbara Penney. Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered. Hiram and Ruth Carver and family
