Sledding mishap sends woman to hospital An afternoon of winter fun in Pine Grove took a bad turn New Year's Eve when a woman was hurt in a sledding mishap.
Paramedics and Northfield district firefighters were dispatched to a hill near Robart Street around 3 p.m., December 31, to a report of an injured 30-year-old woman. She apparently experienced temporary numbness in her legs after being struck in the back by at least one other sledder when she fell off her own ride.
