The 60 Day Fitness Challenge - Lighthouse Media Group
On October 1, 2011, the 60 day fitness challenge commenced at the offices of Lighthouse Media Group.
The "60 Day Fitness Challenge" is a health and wellness initiative open to all employees of Lighthouse Media Group. Twenty employees signed up to take the challenge which involved committing to undertaking a fitness or healthy eating regime and keeping an accurate food, water and exercise diary for 60 days.
At the end of the 60 days, measurements and weight-loss were noted, food and exercise diaries studied and results compared. CLICK HERE FOR RESULTS

Currently we have 6 losers and 7 drop outs. Lets see how many we have after 30 days!
This first portion of the challenge will be 30 days, starting January 2nd and ending February 2nd. We will meet Wednesdays in the breakout room at 11:30..
This challenge is simple: Eat Better - Move More.
You decide how you want to move. You decide if you want to record what you eat. If you wish to record in a book, a book will be supplied to you.

WEEKLY CHALLENGES
Week 1 Challenge: EAT BETTER- Spice it up! Add spices and herbs to your food for better health. MOVE MORE- Do 1 outdoor activity, for example, skating, skiing, hiking, walking,snowshoeing, shoveling. Deadline: Wednesday January 11, 11am
Week 2 Challenge: EAT BETTER- Water challenge. Drink more. MOVE MORE- SSSTTTRRREEETTTCCCHHH a bit more everyday. Deadline: Wednesday January 18, 11am
Week 3 Challenge: EAT BETTER- Stop eating at night. Pick a time and don’t eat after it. MOVE MORE- Why weight? Add weight training to your workouts. Already weight training? Increase the weight. Deadline: Wednesday January 25, 11am
Week 4 Challenge: EAT BETTER- Prepare to be healthy. Package healthy lunches and snacks thenight before. MOVE MORE- Gimme 10. Do 10 extra…something. 10 minutes more of walking,10 more minutes of cardio, 10 extra push-ups…Deadline: Wednesday February 1, 11am
